This week, I’ve curated some thoughtful gift ideas to help you celebrate, whether it’s by treating yourself, your partner, or by showing some love and appreciation to friends and family. I hope my recommendations will add an extra touch of magic to this Valentine’s day. From indulgent treats to heartfelt tokens, I believe there’s a little something for every kind of love in your life.
Make Love poster, Drool ✺ This is from the same shop where we bought our Ambient poster, which you can see in the background of every single style video I post on Instagram. I chose to present this one based on the theme of the newsletter, but this online boutique is a treasure trove of unique prints you don’t see on everyone’s walls.
Candle Care Kit, Etsy ✺ Whenever I take out my candle care kit (mine is black and lives in its own velvet pouch) to tend over my Diptyque candle I feel SO extra. It’s that special accessory that brings the ritual of lighting my candle on a dreary rainy day to a whole new level. Definitely a gift for someone who is into romanticising even the smallest moments of their life.
A notebook from Papier ✺ A year ago, I treated myself to this wellness journal from Papier and I use it regularly to record thoughts, moods, and dreams. I love that you have the option to personalise the cover with a thoughtful message or a name, which I did. The paper is very high quality as well and it’s just the perfect present for someone that likes their writing and fine stationery.
Passport Amour, Cra-Yon ✺ For my 34th birthday, Nick picked up on my countless and not-so-subtle hints and gifted me this perfume I’d been coveting for months. Cra-yon’s scents are gender-neutral and have very delicate profiles. Passport Amour, in particular, has leading notes of Damask Rose, and a sweetness that feels reminiscent of a serene, sunlit garden in spring.
A subscription to Longe ✺ My lifestyle newsletter, in which I share thoughts and ideas on style, wellness, travel, culture and more. I write it from my new home in Sydney, Australia. As a half French-half Brazilian, ex-luxury lifestyle magazine editor and now a cultural insights and trends consultant (and occasional model since 2009), I bring my unique lens and personal touch to each issue. Longe aims to be a sunny, heartfelt postcard from a friend, landing in your inbox twice a month or sometimes more. Each edition is crafted with love.
